The mountain area (around Theth?) in the North of Albania.
I'm not 100% sure about the name of the area, but I seen the photos and... OMG... I cant take it out of my mind.
That what Michael said: "... I am guessing you mean the area around Theth? I have read about it as well and see photos. It's becoming more and more popular but is a great off the beaten path experience in Europe I guess. There should also be a nice ferry ride from Koman to Fierze along a river/lake and canyons. I did not have time to do that longer trip but if you happen to travel east-west through northern Albania, for example from Kosovo to the coast in Montenegro, that is really a great alternative!
